The child in this story is Dani - our founder.
Twenty-five years ago, when her family business closed after four generations, she went looking for what would hold her steady. Not theory - something simpler. Something she could feel and had needed in her role while in the business and beyond.
She discovered seven elements - presented here as seven ‘companions’: Earth

Each taught her something - to stand firm, to flow, to act with courage, to pause and breathe, to know her why, to stay connected, to keep going.
That's where GLAS began, not as a framework - as an inner child trying to make sense of many experiences. Set amongst the backdrop of a forest, trying to find her way home - to a place of stability, safety and hope.
She has written and illustrated it - and wanted to give it away. While originally with the idea for being to help children, it applies to anyone and everyone regardless of age or situation.
