Something Worth SharingImportance of Clarity and Confidence As last year drew to a close, like so many of us, the team and I spent time building a strategy and focus for the year ahead. Our word for 2023 would be ‘accelerate’. We became focused on what we wanted to achieve and more importantly, how we’d apply our purpose of ‘igniting the spark of human potential’ in our approach. We became so clear about what we wanted to achieve, that we were even able to start asking for what that was - without apology. One example of this was to state that we want to find 3-5 licence holders that would join the ‘GLAS family’. Within the first week of the year, we have potentially found the first new family member. The learn for the week is that when we really gain clarity and focus, we also gain a deep inner confidence - and vice versa. This then equips us with the courage and ambition to ask for what we need and want. If we waiver in our belief and confidence, or are unclear about our purpose and direction, then asking for what we need and want is undermined. We’ve all encountered people that are unsure and lack clarity, which then leaves us feeling doubtful. When we experience someone (or a company) with a deep and healthy inner confidence, we are more able to put our trust in them and feel positive. How much clarity and confidence do you have?
